Blocksi Manager Education Everywhere

Bilocksi Manager Education Everywhere (BMEE) provides a powerful cloud content filtering and classroom screen monitoring system. It can be easily deployed to your environment and used on Google Workspace managed Chromebooks and Windows OS devices.

This section includes descriptions of all parts of Blocksi and procedures for its deployment.

Blocksi Manager Education Everywhere (BMEE) contains two interrelated systems: the Blocksi Enterprise Extension (BEE) and the Blocksi domain App.

Available on the Google Workspace Application Marketplace. The BEE provides the filtering and monitoring of student accounts.

An application on the Google Workspace Application Marketplace that does the following:

  • Grants access to the Google Admin Console.

  • Allows BMEE to see organizational units and users.

  • Allows the use of Google Single Sign-on.

Blocksi Manager provides four user dashboards: Admin, Delegate, Parent, and Teacher. All dashboards are available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese (Brazil).

The Admin Dashboard is for the IT administrator. It allows for the deployment and configuration of Blocksi Extension settings. Integration with the Google Admin Console simplifies the deployment of Blocksi Extensions for a large number of Chromebook, Windows-OS, and macOS users on and off campus.

It also provides the following functionality:

  • Delegate, Parent, and Teacher accounts management.

  • Web-wide granular filtering and YouTube content and channel filters with AI-assisted content rating.

  • Device management and anti-theft tools.

  • Web and YouTube Analytics, activity per user, PDF reports, and raw data availability.

  • Smart Alerts with escalation.

  • Detection of misuse on any student’s Gmail and Outlook accounts, Google Drive, including Chats, Images, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, as well a search engine and YouTube queries with Student Safety.

The Delegate Dashboard provides Insights and Analytics for delegates, superintendents, and other delegates to track school performance.

The Delegate Dashboard can also be used to do the following:

  • Receive Alerts on email and mobile devices when attempts are made to access blocked content.

  • Detect cyberbullying, threats, mental health issues, and mass violence with Student Safety.

The Parent Dashboard allows parents to enforce stricter school admin-managed policies when devices are at home.

Use the Parent Dashboard to do the following:

  • View web history and analyze trends of your child’s internet browsing activity.

  • Use access time control for bedtime, YouTube, streaming, gaming, and social media, and Google Games.

The Teacher Dashboard allows teachers to monitor students’ Chromebooks and Windows-OS screens in real time.

This dashboard also has the following features:

  • Block and allow lists.

  • Lock down browsers during assessments.

  • Plagiarism checker

  • AI quiz generator

  • Smart per-student or per-group filtering policies.

  • Share screens and chat live with students.

  • Trend analysis and insightful analytics.

  • Save PDF activity reports with measurable results by student, class, time, blocked/allowed content, and number of URL visits.
