Integrating Canvas With Blocksi
You must add all teacher accounts and pull your Canvas credentials from the Blocksi Instructure site and set up all teacher accounts on Canvas.
Provide these instructions to the district administrator.
To integrate Canvas with Blocksi
Go to your school's domain account at district.instructure.com, where district is your organization, and sign in as District Admin.
Click Admin from the menu to the left and then click your district name from its sub-menu.
Click Developer Keys from the menu. The Developer Keys screen appears.
Click the + Developer Keys button to the far right.
Click the + API Key option from the drop-down menu.
Disable the Enforce Scopes option.
Type the Key Name, Owner Email, Redirect URLs, and Redirect URLs (Legacy). Use the following for the redirect URLs:
Redirect URLs: https://teacher.blocksi.net/canvas/login and https://service.block.si/classlink/canvas-mobile-login
Redirect URLs (Legacy): https://teacher.blocksi.net/canvas/login
Click Save. You are returned to the Developer Keys screen.
Locate the account you just created and note the information in the Details column and click the ON button in the State column. Then, copy this information to the Canvas Credentials section on the Teacher Dashboard Settings page in Blocksi.
Getting the Canvas Credentials
Sign in to your Blocksi Admin Dashboard.
Click Dashboard Settings from the Main Menu, and then click Teacher Dashboard from its sub-menu.
Copy the URL and paste it into the Domain field of the Canvas Credentials section.
Copy the series of numbers at the top and paste them into the Client ID field.
Click the Show Key button to reveal the developer key.
Copy this sequence of characters and paste them into the Client Secret field.
Click Save.
